There is "Take Seven", a rhapsodic "Take Five", which goes into the variation of the variation and yet always wrestles with the "difficulty of the plain" (Brecht) between grounded work on the life-sustaining functions and unexpected Daedalusian flights of fancy. An euphoria that almost tips over into eccentricity, because the greatest treasures are not materializable, but – we must experience them. And although life may represent a repetition chain of the eternal same, there is a way not to fall prey to madness: variation. It is the way out.
